What is Solid Figures?

• Solid Figures are 3D or 3 dimensional shape,They are thickness and depth and they have length,width height and some example of Solid Figures is Rectangular Prism,Sphere,Cubes and Cone.

What is the Parts of Solid Figures?

• A Polyhedron is a three dimensional figure made of a flat polygon shape surface called faces.The line segment where two faces intersectts is called edges.The point where several edges meet is called a vertex.

Why cylinder,cone and sphere are not polyhedron?

• Some three dimensional figures are not polyhedron.For example a cylinder has two circular bases that are parallel and congruent ;a sphere has no base;a cone has one circular base.All these solid figure do not have bases that are polygons, that’s why they are not polyhedrons.
